Makarov Training Centre has successfully passed Telenor Certification
A repeated audit for competence with National Requirements of Norway for GMDSS training was hold in Makarov Training Centre in September 3-6, 2001 (the first Certificate of Competence was obtained on November 12, 1996.)
Senior Extcutive Officer Mr. Truls Bui carried out the audit.
The Final Audit Report confirms full compliance of the training level for GOC and ROC certificates with the requirements of the National Administration of Norway.
Mr. Bui also stressed the fact that qualification of GMDSS instructors and level of training process is quite up to the mark and that "Other Training Institutions should look to Makarov Training Centre of Admiral Makarov State Maritime Academy to see and learn".
Thus Makarov Training Centre of the Academy has proved the right to prepare GMDSS specialists for the Norwegian Merchant Marine
