New Course - "Code of Safety Practices"
In December 2000 Makarov Training Centre started a new course for ships personnel based on the "Code of Safety Practices" issued by Safety of Navigation Agency and British Coast Guard.
This course is to ensure personnel safety of crewmembers during various operations carried out on board ships. Duration of the course is 16 hours.
The program of the course "Practice of the safe fulfillment of works" is aimed at preparation of "Safety officer" - a person, who is responsible for implementation of Safe Working Practicies on board the ship.
Great attention is paid to the procedures of preparation for carrying out of works and to filling in of the ship forms of providing safety.
